Family photos that look like you

Family Photography

Family stories are created every day. A relaxing moment on the porch, homework at the kitchen table, a walk in the park, or sunset at the lake. Documentary-style family photography is all about capturing those moments, in the most thoughtful, artistic, and interesting way possible. Your photos are meaningful, important even. And they are filled with stories. Real-life moments, connections, and the personalities of all family members. Unique photos to hold memories you don’t want to fade.

Real-life moments, your family in a whole new light.

In my Documentary Family Photo sessions, we are capturing the essence of your family.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Clients often ask what they should wear for their family photo session. The most important thing to keep in mind, is that I want you to feel comfortable, feel confident, feel yourself. You will not hear me say you have to wear certain colors, or have to match your outfits perfectly. If that is what you do on a daily basis, then great, go for it. But if your family usually looks like a unique Disney meets Spiderman meet
Let’s talk about it! On this website, I have listed the most common types of photo sessions I offer. However, over the years, I have built up extensive experience in different types of photography as well. Stage photography, birth stories, corporate events, headshots, product photography. I would love to hear more about your project.
I feel ya. All the questions. All the time. I am one of those people who wants to feel confident they made an informed choice before spending my hard earned money. And even more so when it comes to a very personal experience, like letting a photographer into my home, my life and close to my loved ones. A chat on the phone, facetime, or meeting up for a coffee, allows you to ask all the questions, and what is even better, I get to know you before we start our session together. To make sure I can sit down and really listen to you, scheduling a phone call or in person consultation (New Orleans only) is ideal. An email or text message works at any time of course.
